Coach Bruno
Founder of Beastmode Volleyball, Bruno is a volleyball nerd. Growing up as a soccer fan, he eventually followed the path of his older siblings and fell in love with the sport.

As an athlete, Bruno played D1 volleyball in Cameroon for the University of Buea where he captained the team for 3 years. He graduated and moved on to play pro for Oxygen VB, Bafia VB, and PAD Volleyball. As a beach volleyball athlete, Bruno competed for the National team at multiple Beach Pro Tour events, and finished 2nd at the Continental Olympic Zonal Qualifiers.
As a coach, Bruno’s philosophy is about challenging athletes to think outside the box and compete for every ball. He creates an atmosphere that fosters growth by encouraging athletes to push their limits. Bruno coaches with heart, he cares about the success of his athletes. As a result, he is constantly finding new ways to improve as a coach.

Coach François
Coach François is an FIVB Level 2 certified coach who has been working with athletes of various age groups since 2018. He brings both national and international experience, including participation in the U19 FIVB World Championships and medal finishes at the U19 African Nations Championship.
His coaching philosophy focuses on developing each athlete’s unique potential, fostering a growth mindset where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn, and guiding players toward finding their own solutions.
Currently coaching at Maverick Volleyball, Coach François was named 2026 Male Athlete of the Year (Coyotes La Cité). His athletic background includes multiple national and university titles, as well as appearances in the African Champions League.
